This policy explains what information CalcKite ("we", "us") collects when you use www.calckite.com, how it is used, and your choices.

1. Numbers you enter into calculators

All calculations run inside your own browser. The amounts, dates and other values you type are not sent to or stored on our servers. We save only your chosen country/currency in your browser's local storage so the site remembers it on your next visit. You can clear it at any time by clearing your browser data.

2. Information collected automatically

Like most websites, our hosting and security provider (Cloudflare) processes technical data such as IP address, browser type and pages requested in order to deliver the site and protect it from abuse. We may use privacy-friendly analytics that report aggregated statistics (for example page views and countries) and do not identify you personally.

3. Advertising and cookies

We use Google AdSense and may use other advertising partners to show ads. Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this website or other websites. Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visits to this site and/or other sites on the Internet.

You can opt out of personalised advertising in Google Ads Settings, or opt out of many third-party vendors' cookies at www.aboutads.info and www.youronlinechoices.eu. Learn how Google uses information from sites that use its services.

Visitors in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland are asked for consent through a Google-certified consent management platform before personalised ads are shown. You can change your choice at any time using the privacy settings link shown by that message.

4. Affiliate and sponsored links

We work with affiliate networks such as Travelpayouts, whose script runs on our pages to track referrals to travel partners. Some offers are sponsored or contain affiliate links and are labelled "Sponsored" or "Partner offer". If you click one, the partner may set its own cookies to record that you came from CalcKite, so we can be paid a commission. Once you leave our site, the partner's own privacy policy applies. 5. Emails you send us

If you email us, we use your email address and message only to reply and keep a record of the conversation. We do not sell or share it.

6. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct or delete personal data, object to or restrict processing, withdraw consent, and opt out of the "sale" or "sharing" of personal information for targeted advertising (for example under the EU/UK GDPR, the California CCPA/CPRA and India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023). 7. Children

CalcKite is not directed at children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from them.

8. Data retention and security

We keep emails only as long as needed to handle your request. Technical logs are kept by our providers for limited periods under their own policies. The site is served only over encrypted HTTPS.

We may update this policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date above shows when it last changed.
