Frequently asked questions

What is a good car loan term?

Try to keep it to 60 months or less. Longer loans lower the payment but you may owe more than the car is worth for years.

How much car can I afford?

A common rule is the 20/4/10 rule: 20% down, a loan of at most 4 years, and total car costs under 10% of gross income.
